Abstract (EN)

All the elements that form the basis of our existence as living organisms are found in nature. Various concentrations of these all the necessary elements for our health, the human body, nutrients, water and air can enter through. The increase in concentration of elements, the biological functions of living organisms are affected negatively. One of these negative effects is the formation of gallstones. In this study, taken from patients living in and around the province of Antalya, chemical samples gallstones, physical and mineralogical properties were investigated , compared and in the formation of these stones , medicine has revealed the role of geology. 69 samples were collected from the pathology department of Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine , patients' rights in accordance with the procedure was obtained. Each sample's physical properties were determined. Gallstones are black, brown, yellowish-green color and varies between 0.1-4.4 cm in diameter. Chemical (FTIR) analysis according to struvite , apatite, whitlockit A, newberyit carbon apatite, hydroxyapatite, calcium phosphate, carbonate, aragonite, calcium bilirubinate, aluminum silicate, barium acetate, aragonite, calcite, palmitic acid were determined.
