The evaluation of skills education in the business administration of vocational and technical anatolian high school final year students who receive education in the field of health

This study examined the views of senior students attending vocational and technical Anatolian high schools in the field of health regarding their workplace skill training conducted in health institutions between September and June, as well as the factors influencing these views. In Kırşehir province, 169 volunteer students participated in the study, of whom 89 were female (52.7%) and 80 were male (47.3%). Data were collected face-to-face using the validated and reliable "Skill Training Perspective Scale (STPS)." The research employed a general survey model, a quantitative research method, and analyses were conducted using SPSS. Depending on the distribution of the data, both parametric (t-test, ANOVA) and non-parametric (Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis) tests were applied. The participants' average opinion score regarding skill training was found to be high (X̄ = 4.18). While variables such as gender, type of institution, and reasons for preference showed no significant difference, satisfaction with the field of study and the presence of a training supervisor revealed statistically significant differences in certain dimensions. Overall, students were found to be satisfied with their workplace skill training experience.
