Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of motivation levels on job satisfaction among healthcare workers. The research aims to reveal the relationship between job motivation and both intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction among individuals working in the healthcare sector. Data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of three sections. The first section measured motivation levels, the second assessed job satisfaction, and the third collected demographic information. Data obtained from 387 healthcare workers were analyzed using statistical methods such as the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Shapiro-Wilk test, Mann Whitney U test, T-test, Kruskal-Wallis H test, One-Way ANOVA, Spearman's rho correlation, the MASS package, and Robust Regression Analysis. The findings indicate that the job motivation variable shows significant differences based on gender and sector characteristics, while no significant differences were found for other demographic variables. Intrinsic motivation showed a significant difference only in terms of gender. Various levels of relationships were identified between job motivation factors and both intrinsic and extrinsic satisfaction dimensions. While intrinsic satisfaction was found to be independent of demographic factors, extrinsic satisfaction was affected by some of these variables. In conclusion, it was determined that motivation has a positive effect on job satisfaction among healthcare workers, and a significant and positive relationship exists between the two variables.
