Investigation of health employees attitudes for affiliation

One of the cooperation models used in health institutions and accepted as the most powerful one is the affiliation application. The Affiliations; It means unity and positive commitment to common goals. Affiliation, defined as inter-institutional cooperation, is defined as the cooperation of institutions in order to use the resources for manpower and infrastructure more efficiently. Affiliation in hospitals in our country is carried out between the hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health and the university hospitals affiliated to the Higher Education Institution within the scope of the determined regulations and protocols. The aim of the study was to use T.C. Ministry of Health Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Training and Research Hospital and T.C. Ministry of Health AİBÜ İzzet Baysal Training Research Hospital attending the attitudes of health workers working on affiliation practice. In this study, mixed research method was used to use quantitative and qualitative methods. The population of the study consisted of 965 health care workers from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Training and Research Hospital and 820 health care workers from AIBU İzzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital. The data collection process of the study within the scope of quantitative research; face-to-face survey with the participants. The quantitative design part of the study was conducted on 415 health personnel who agreed to participate in the study. SPSS 22.00 package program was used to analyze the data obtained from the study. Reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance and chi-square test were performed. The data collection process of the study within the scope of qualitative research is; in-depth interviews with the participants. In the qualitative part of the study, snowball method was used and a total of 16 people were included in the study. Computer aided content analysis analiz Atlas. Ti nit qualitative data analysis program was used. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the level of satisfaction with the affiliation system varies in terms of hospitals. The satisfaction level of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University employees was lower than that of Bant Abant İzzet Baysal University employees. In addition, the satisfaction level of the Ministry of Health employees was found to be lower than university employees. In terms of socio-demographic characteristics; hospital, affiliated institution, education level, profession and monthly income and scale scores were found statistically significant. No statistically significant difference was found between gender, marital status, total working time and hospital working time and scale scores. Within the scope of qualitative research; Affiliation was expressed in terms of common use, cooperation and confusion. In addition, the advantages of affiliation application for employees and the organization are indicated. Its disadvantages have been emphasized. Accordingly, 6 of the participants stated that they supported affiliation. 10 of the participants stated that they do not support.
