Recently, patient safety has become an important matter in both national and international literature. It is important to see patient safety from different perspectives. In today's complicated and changing health service environment, only one education or assessment tool will not be sufficient in order to maintain patient comfort. While health employees carry worries regarding patient safety with them, acceptance, measurement, and management of patient safety climate are relatively new developments. In this thesis, the measurement of patient safety climate perceptions of health employees was aimed. In accordance with this aim, a survey study was made on 254 health employees in a public hospital. In this study, the Safety Climate survey was used, which was developed by Sexton et al. (2003) and translated to Turkish by Budak (2008). The analysis of quantitative data was evaluated by analyzing frequency and difference. According to the findings of this research, a significant difference between the demographic variables, education level, and patient safety climate perception was found. When patient safety climate perception of the participants was evaluated, it was determined that 116 (45.7%) participants perceived patient safety climate at a good level. According to the results of this research, it was seen that once the education level increases, patient safety climate perception increases equally. In the institution where the research took place in, almost half of the health employees perceive a positive patient safety climate.
