Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the regulatory role of emotional labor in the effect of the workload level on job satisfaction within the scope of healthcare workers. For this purpose, firstly, conceptual and theoretical explanations about workload, job satisfaction, and emotional labor are included in the study. Then, research methodology and findings are presented. In the study, data were collected from 270 healthcare workers by using the questionnaire method. The questionnaire form, which is used as a data collection tool, consists of four sections. The first section is the Personal Information Form, the second section is the Excessive Workload Scale, the third section is the Job Satisfaction Scale and the last section is the Emotional Labor Scale. According to the results of the research, emotional labor has no regulatory role in the relationship between workload and job satisfaction. Another finding is that as the workload increases, job satisfaction decreases.
