Patient satisfaction in health services: Example of Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Dursun Odabaş Medical Center

Today, patient satisfaction is considered as more important compared to the past. Because, health care facilities are in competition to reach more patients and in the case of need, to ensure that they choose the same hospitals. In this competitive environment, the expectations of the patients and how to provide them are important issues for the institutions. Instituons plan out the services that will please the patients while seeking answers to those question. In order to ensure the patient satisfaction, hospital administration should work both in the provission of services and in the improvement of the phsical environment, and thus solve the problems. In this way, the profit magrin, quality, performance and efficiency of the institution will increase. When all of these taken into consideration, it is clear how important patient satisfaction is. In this study, health care services, patient and patient satisfactıon notion, the importance of patient saisfaction, and factors affecting patient satisfactıon were examined. The main aim of the study is to determine what factors affect patient satisfaction. With this study, it is aimed to give a new perspective to the works to be done in the field and to contribute to its knowledge and knowledge. Data were collected from the patients who received polyclinic services at the Dursun Odabaş Medical Center at. The questionnaire was used as data collection tool. The collected data were analyzed by SPPS 22.0 program. As a result of the study, statistically significant results of different demoraphic characteristics were obtained in different service categories and evaluations were made.
