Public private partnership practices in health services (The case of Turkey)

For many comprehensive and long-term projects in the world and Turkey are used public-private partnership (PPP) model. In particular, the planning of PPP projects in recent years Turkey has made reform of the financing and implementation. The most recent of these reforms are city hospitals projects. PPP practices, which have become widespread in many countries, especially in the UK, have started to be implemented for the efficient use of resources in the field of health within the scope of Health Transformation Program in Turkey. The hospital was built with the PPP in the city of Turkey is the main subject of this study. As a result of the projects of city hospitals, the health system of our country has changed considerably. Turkey in city hospitals were examined YKD model used in the construction and services, the evaluations was made using several databases in financial terms. As a result of the literature review, it was found that the studies related to the subject were not sufficient. In this study, the legal, administrative features and financing of the city hospitals were investigated. For this reason, the study was designed as theoretical literature review and content analysis of PPP projects, especially city hospitals.
