Determining the impact of total quality management in healthcare services on supply chain management

In this thesis study, it was carried out to determine the effect of total quality management in health services on supply chain management. Information form containing the introductory and professional characteristics of healthcare workers and the Supply Chain Management and Total Quality Management questionnaire were used as data collection tools for this purpose. The Supply Chain Management questionnaire consists of 7 dimensions and 27 items. A questionnaire consisting of 10 items developed by the researcher was used to measure Total Quality Management. The answers given to the questionnaire questions obtained in this study were analyzed with the help of SPSS for Windows 22.00 and AMOS 24.0 programs. The dimension structure of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Total Quality Management (TQM) scales applied in the study was revealed by exploratory factor analysis, and the structural validity of these dimensions was also checked with confirmatory factor analysis. The relationship between Total Quality Management (TQM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) has been revealed by correlation analysis. Comparison of the total and sub-dimensions of Supply Chain (TZY) and Total Quality Management (TQM) scales according to demographic characteristics was analyzed by independent sample t test (independent sample t test) and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) tests. The source of the difference in the groups with a difference in ANOVA was investigated with the Bonferroni test. As a result of this research, positive and significant relationships of Total Quality Management in Health Services (TQM) variable with all sub-dimensions of Supply Chain Management were found.
