Özet (EN)

The Total Quality Management's having been implemented in the industrial sector initially and in consequence of achievements of results, this management approach started to be applied in the service sector as well. With the implementation of Total Quality Management, reduce in costs, mitigation of faults and quality improvement have occured. Because of the fact that mistakes can effect negatively, even can be deadly to human health in terms of service provided, Total Quality Management has begun to be implemented in the health sector and spread rapidly. The objective of this study is to determine the extent to which total quality management, which's importance increases each passing day, are applied in Şırnak State Hospital and to determine to what extent the staff and patient satisfaction are realized and to determine the factors that affect them. It has been determined that the level of total quality management in Sirnak State Hospital is not satisfactory and the employees are not informed on this subject adequately.
