Abstract (EN)

Performance management is a concept that emerges from the systematic analysis of the success levels of both the organization and the employees. Performance management, which targets continuous improvement, is being implemented in our country as well as in many countries and it renews itself continuously. In this study, performance concept, performance management and evaluation, performance management systems implemented throughout the world from the first years of the Republic to the present, performance practices in health enterprises were discussed, the current situation was analyzed by examining the legislation and the studies. The importance of the concept and evaluation of performance management in public hospitals and the reflections of the performance-based supplement were discussed. The literature review was conducted within the scope of the study, the effects of additional payment systems on performance were examined and performance evaluation methods were discussed within the scope of health transformation program. Finally, a survey was conducted to test whether an effective performance assessment was performed. The reliability coefficients of the data obtained from the surveys were calculated.
