Abstract (EN)

In this study, the importance of inventory control for companies was examined and (s,S) inventory control model, which is one of the stochastic stock models, was used to determine an inventory system for a real company. The simulation method, which is often used in literature for generating inventory policies, was utilized in order to determine the optimum stock levels. In the first part of the study, the inventory concept, inventory costs, basic stock control methods were examined in general terms and inventory control models were observed in details. In the second part; the simulation method, which would be used for the stock control implementation, were examined in detail. In the third part; by investigating a company's past year sales demand data, the optimum inventory levels supplying minimum stock cost, were found by using simulation method. Key Words Inventory, Inventory Management, Inventory Control Models, (s, S) Stock Policy, Simulation
