Assessment of mobbing investigations for the health sector in terms of graduate theses: Literature study

Mobbing is defined as violence to person by a group or a single person. At the same time it is explained as a psychological terror or emotional attacks against something or someone. Nowadays economic developments have created changes in the work environment. As a result of this situation also have increased mobbing behaviors because of desire to profit and extremely competitive in the workplace. Close to all the activities of organizations working in the health sector in a similar way to all organizations operating in the area of service is carried out in front of the public. Therefore these organizations are essential to make prevention work against adversity that may occur against people who benefit from their work and services. Mobbing events that will occur as a result where these measures are not taken into account will affect the quality of offered services, and also it will also cause becoming disturbed to personnel in the working environment. Prevention of Mobbing events in health sector that has a vital importance for the community will increase work efficiency of the staff and it will be ensured that the patient satisfaction as a result. Eventually quality of service expected from organizations in the health sector will be in the best possible way. The aim of this study is to examine performed thesis studies on the subject in Turkey in order to provide multi-dimensional knowledge accumulation by collecting and systematically regulating valid and reliable information about mobbing incidents in health institutions. For this purpose, a compilation study was conducted on 48 theses made between 2006 and 2015. In this study, general information about the thesis and the obtained results are given. This study will provide a general knowledge on the persons to be examined in the field of health institutions. Key Words: Mobbing, Mobbing in Health Institutions
