Examining the attitudes of health personnel towards health technologies in the process of digitalization in health in terms of demographic variables: Diyarbakir province example

This study was conducted to examine the attitudes of healthcare personnel in evaluating health technologies in terms of various variables. Technology, which has a very important place in every aspect of life, also has a very important place in the health sector. Technology is an indispensable element for the health sector to be sustainable and effective. This study focused on determining the attitude levels of healthcare personnel in the healthcare sector towards this technology. A general screening model was used in the research. The research group consists of 400 healthcare personnel, 215 women and 185 men, who participated voluntarily. Group formation was carried out by random sampling method, which is one of the non-random sampling methods. In the research, as a data collection form, in order to obtain the demographic characteristics of individuals, the personal information form (gender, age, educational status, marital status, occupational status, years of working in the current institution and total professional years) was used, as well as the personal information form developed by Kuşcu, Yılmaz and Kuşcu Karatepe (2022). 3D Health Personnel Health Technologies Evaluation Attitude Scale (SPSTDTÖ) was used. The survey forms used in the research were applied online to healthcare personnel. The data obtained in the research were analyzed in computer environment through the SPSS.22 package program. When the findings were evaluated, a statistically significant difference was detected between the educational status variable and the whole scale (p<0.05). However, no statistically significant difference was detected between other variables and the whole scale (p>0.05). However, statistically significant differences were detected in some variables and sub-dimensions of the scale (p<0.05). It was determined that the attitude levels of the healthcare personnel participating in the study towards health technologies were high in line with the averages of the answers given to the scale.
