Abstract (EN)

The aim is to determine the level of Newborn Intensive Care Unit health workers' knowledge about Quality Standards in Health Hospital (Version-5) Newborn Intensive Care Unit Standartds. The universe of the study constitutes a total of 73 nurses and doctors working in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit of the Diyarbakır Hospital For Obstetrics And Pediatrics. Our research; is a descriptive study in the relational screening model. To obtain the data, the questionnaire based on the standards of the Health Quality Standards Hospital (Version 5) Newborn Intensive Care Unit and based on the researcher's questionnaire was used. Cronbach's alpha value was used in the internal consistency analysis of the questionnaire used in the study. Mann-Whitney Test and Kruskal Wallis Test were used for nonparametric tests in the SPSS 16.0 program. The results were evaluated in a 95% confidence interval and a significance level of p <0.05. In the study; health workers' level of knowledge about the Health Quality Standards (HQS) -Hospital (Version-5) Newborn Intensive Care Unit was high (mean = 3.39 ± 0.38), the level of knowledge about standards of newborn intensive care unit was variable according to total working years and experience X2 = 15,483, P = 0.008 (p <0.05) and 5 out of 6 hypotheses generated from the working model were accepted, one was rejected.
