Abstract (EN)
Field/control engineer in construction projects; Working under the responsibility of the site chief, ensuring that the materials, equipment and workforce of the productions to be made according to the work schedule are cleared, controlling the productions made in the field by standing by, preparing daily production and control reports, checking the conformity of the project and the application, preparing the measurements / quantities and taking the occupational safety measures. It is the title given to the technical personnel who provide Choosing the right field engineer among different candidates for employment in a construction company; It will directly affect the production quality, the construction period of the project and the cost of the project. Therefore, when choosing a field engineer, many criteria should be considered. In this type of problems, making the right choices starts with determining the criteria well. In this study, the feasibility and performance of a hybrid Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach that can be used by construction companies specialized in housing construction in Düzce province in field engineer selection was investigated. For this, a survey study was conducted to determine which criteria are given more importance in the selection of field engineers and it was applied to construction companies that carry out housing projects in Düzce. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and MOORA methods from different MCDM methods in order to select the most suitable candidate with the help of the criteria determined in this way; applied both separately and together. Both sorting was done with AHP and criteria weights were determined for ranking in MOORA method. As a result, the performances of these applications were compared; Recommendations have been made to industry professionals regarding the most appropriate decision-making approach. As a result, Candidate 1 was chosen as the most suitable candidate in both AHP and MOORA methods. In addition, both production companies and control engineer candidates; In such a recruitment preference process, it has been tried to ensure that they have information about what the main criteria are and what the relative importance differences of these criteria are compared to each other.
