Observing the specialities of these churches? communities, histories, architectural pecularities according to the century that they were built in, making plan analysis and observing pecularities of ornaments, canvas colours and statues parallel to the architectural, urbanistic and cultural development of this district and thus understanding the place and the importance of St. Antonio Church among churches of Beyoglu is predict to determine within this thessis.Introduction chapter has the definition of the main problem and points that will be observed on the thessis and simply the defined outborders of the thessis.The architectural, urbanistic and cultural metamorphosis of Beyoglu is observed in the second chapter.The process of existance and the place of churches around Beyoglu, where is choosen as the target zone, in cultural life is observed on the third chapter. Also, this chapter has a catalog of Beyoglu churches.Respectively the fourth chapter has historical changings, pecularities of plans, facades and ornaments of Beyoglu churches.Finally the fifth chapter is the interpretation chapter, where the place and the importance of St. Antonio Church among Beyoglu churches is touched on.
