ديوان (إكليل موسيقى على جثّة بيانو) للشاعر جواد الحطّاب(دراسة نقدية)

The study sheds light on the nature of the texts of the diwan of the poet Jawad Al-Hattab (A Wreath of Music on the Corpse of a Piano), which represents a unique experience in its contents and forms. The content expands to accommodate topics of special interest to the poet, including the issue of the American occupation of Iraq and its impact on the Iraqi reality after 2003. It was not strange that he dealt with such topics as he is a poet of reality and the people. He was born in the midst of the toiling classes and that his treatment of such issues was not traditional, but rather revealed the intellectual development of the poet and took a modernist approach represented in taking the principle of deconstruction in his dialogues with the colonizer. The matter is found in his dealings with heritage in all its aspects and the texts of elegies. With regard to the form, the poet took a different approach. He made use of the techniques and elements of forming other arts (such as theatre, cinema, drawing, story, montage, and others) in order to give a special imprint on other texts. For this reason, narration, collage, paradox, omission, and whiteness are then present as basic elements that contribute to the formation of modernist poetry.
