Abstract (EN)
Dependence of electrical energy is increasing each day with the developing industry and techlonology. It is aimed to reach the users of electrical energy with high quality, continuous, safe, economical and minimum loss. In case of a fault in the network, if the defective part is not separated from the network quickly, the resulting excessive current may cause loss of life and property. Such negativities can be prevented by the design and coordination of the protection system that can effectively and reliably eliminate a failure that occurs. It is necessary to analyze the system with advanced automation software in order to design a protection system and make optimum protection. In this study, all parameters of the electricity distribution network in Sakarya Province, Serdivan District, Yazlık Region were defined to MATLAB / Simulink program and power flow analysis and short circuit calculations were performed. With these calculated parameters, an effective protection order was created by making relay coordination settings.
