Abstract (EN)
Traditional Turkish Houses are picturesque cultural environment formed by cultural values of Turkish people. They are the most precious parts of our cultural heritage.Typical Turkish house has gained its original form in Anatolia. Old Turkish customs and Islamic principles are important factors in planning the house and arrenging interiordecoration. Authentic types of houses have formed in different cultural atmospheres of different parts of Anatolia.Sapanca is located within the boundaries of the province of Marmara. The houses were made of the unique architectural character because of climate and geographical features in Sapanca. Sapanca traditional houses reflect the present to the culture of the period and social economic structure and increase the city's visual and historical value.The scope of research firstly is given information including the aim of the study and scope, search of source, material and methods, geography and climate of the town.In the first part It is focused on the meaning of the Turkish House, its history and the architectural features of the Turkish house.In the second part Sapanca Houses were formed for each house catalog.In the third part There is compared.There is evaluation and results In the fourth part.In the fifth part attachements and the latest chapter in the sixth is existed bibliography
