Abstract (EN)
By the studies in West Samanlı Mountains (Kocaeli, Sakarya, İzmit, Yalova, Bursa, Bilecik) 634 specimens belonging to order Neuroptera were collected between May- August in 2007. As a result of the identifications 41 species and 1 subspecies belonging to the 9 families of the order Neuroptera were determined. General morphology, phenologies, ecologies and distributions of 41 species and 1 subspecies determined from the research area were given. Distributions of the each species were given in two categories as distributions in Turkey and in the World. Found 40 species and 1 subspecies are new records for West Samanlı Mountains. Furthermore, Sisyra nigra species and their family Sisyridae are new record for the Turkish fauna. Both male and female genital drawings of this species are given.
