Phenomenological analysis of surface, body and space enquiries in the context of intuition in art works

In this thesis, the main problem of the research was determined as phenomenological analyses of surface, body and location queries in the context of intuition. The main problem of the research was analyzed in sub-headings. In this research, data were obtained through a descriptive survey model, which is a qualitative research method. The philosophical discipline used in the research is Edmund Husserl's phenomenology concept. While the narrations researched in the philosophy field are analyzed with the artistic method, philosophical methods were used as a tool for expressions in artistic narrations. Aesthetic experience and intuitional experience in the philosophical field were discussed together as a phenomenological problem. Phenomenology, which focuses on the world of phenomena, indirectly reveals the real meaning of art by also focusing on the artworks, which are formed with the image of the intuitional world. The concept of intuition constitutes the basis of production process in art and philosophy. In this context, while the main heading is discussed and analyzed in four sub-headings, within the scope of the obtained data, the phenomenology philosophy, its theoreticians and the changes on this theory in the historical process were examined under the first heading. The place of the concept of intuition within aesthetics and phenomenology were examined under the second heading. Under the other headings, themes of pain-violence, appropriation, and body-ego relationship, which appear as sub problems, were explained within the theoretical frame. At the same time, analyses of surface, body and location in the artistic production process were explained. Within the scope of this information, how the artists who are the sample subjects of the research conveyed the mentioned concepts during their production process through symbols and images were correlated according to their composition techniques and data were obtained through a correlation analysis with the phenomenological approach. How artists gather various artistic tools during the production of their work and how these are channeled to the purpose were investigated and analyzed. The main concepts and terms of the thesis were defined and the data obtained theoretically were analyzed in terms of imagery and content in the context of pain and violence, appropriation and body-ego relationship in the artworks, reaching the conclusion of the thesis by a correlation with the phenomenological method.
