Abstract (EN)

The objects surrounding the existence of the human-beings are also the products of the nature. The human-beings, structuring the nature, are always in a creative action by creating their own objects, from the nature to the human-beings to the nature an from the human-beings to the nature. The creative action at the conflicting togetherness of the human-beings and the nature, from the prehistoric times to modern-day, brings along the change and development. At the relation that the artists enter with the nature, they arrive at a dialectical synthesis by structuring the universe of visions with their own idea(tional) universe in their work of art. The artists need the language of the elements of the composition in order to arrive at such a synthesis. Drawing is an essential element in the forming of the composition, and as it is used with a conflicting manner it turns into form.In our research we have correlated the forming of ?drawing?, which is a plastic element forming the work of art, on the surface, with the ?Law of Unity and Conflict of Opposites?, which is a dialectic law of the nature, at the samples of the Western and Turkish Art. Within the framework of the examining of the conflicting existence that the drawing had formed on the surface, we have discussed the historical process of the Western Painting from the petroglyphs of the prehistoric ages to the works of the post-modern era. Keywords: Drawing, conflict, dialectic
