Cities have been in a constant change and development with the effect of changing environmental, social and economic conditions since their existence. Cities are born, grow, develop, and turn into collapsed areas that become dysfunctional over time, just like people. The increase in population in urban centers with the effect of industrialization causes unplanned growth in cities, transportation problems, infrastructure problems, environmental problems and an increase in slum areas. Industrial areas remain in urban centers due to inability to properly plan in the constantly growing city. Urban transformation studies are carried out in order to reintroduce the industrial areas in urban center to the city. This study includes processes and information related to urban transformation. Konya industrial zone needs to be transformed because it has lost its function recently. Its streets and shops are narrow, the working environment is unhealthy, and it has a bad appearance because it is too close to the city center. In the transformation process, it is aimed to save the region from the bad view and urban depression areas by taking the urban transformation projects carried out in industrial areas in the world and in our country as an example. As a result, the New Motorized Small Industrial Site, which is under construction in Konya, was examined and the problems encountered in the transformation process were determined. The effects of the transformation on the environment, economy and people were investigated and necessary suggestions were made.
