Nowadays, the industrial buildings have very kind features under developing technologies and arising demands. Industrial buildings are expanding broad areas and have more complicated systems in. Quick changes in technology and quick growth also affect production systems and acceleration of change in indusrialization increases much more. Quick qrowth and quick changes make the noise control more important in the industrial buildings. To increase productivity and ensure more confortable working conditions in the industrial areas, noise level must be within acceptable values. At this point, one of the most effective way to explain these values is to generate noise maps.The types of industrial buildings according to functions and its allocation, the general specifications of noise resources and effects of noise on the workers are explained in Part 2. Noise as a problem in the industrial buildings accepted all over the world. National and international standarts and directives for industrial areas and buildings are placed in Part 3.Definiton of different aspects about noise in industrial buildings are placed in Part 4 with some model Works about noise problem. In Part 5, general and environmental specifications of the building are explained and noise maps are prepared according to noise values which are measured in the production area and around the building. Noise maps are evaluated for the industrial building, comments are made for different situations, comparisions are made between the measurements and acceptable noise levels and also proposals for non-conformance are represented.
