Abstract (EN)

In this research, it was aimed to determine the phylogenetic trees of Şanlıurfa province goats using molecular techniques. Blood samples were collected from goats for total genomic DNA isolation. In DNA samples, forward and reverse primers were used to amplify the mitochondrial Cytochrome b (CYTB) gene region. The mitochondrial CYTB gene region was amplified using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique and the gene sequence information of the PCR products was obtained. In goats, DNA polymorphisms in the CYTB gene sequence based on total number of domains, G+C ratio, number of polymorphic regions, number of haplotypes, haplotype diversity, and nucleotide diversity values were found as 560, 0.407, 81, 13, 1.000±0.0030, 0.03395±0.00434. In goats, genetic distance varies between 0.0000-0.0299. In phylogenetic analyses; UPGMA (Weighted Peer Group Method with Arithmetic Mean) method and Kimura-2-parameter model were used to show genetic relationships.
