Centrifugal pumps general design's examine

This study includes main description, properties and classification of centrifugal pumps thatuse to provide for general usage of water.In the project main elements of centrifugal pumps introduced and type of elements, materialstructure and main constructions ere examined. Classical relations of calculation methods ofpump basic elements and calculations of main elements and sketches are given. Thecalculations and sketching the pump graphs are made by assuming as follows;Pump Type: Norm Type Centrifugal PumpSpeed of Rotation: 1450 rpmStatic Head of Pump: 40 mWCFlow Rate: 80 lt/secAlso design values of propeller and housing of the pump had been calculated and sketched bymeans of above assumption.Pump information that not easily get from a printed source, are collected from pumpmanufacturers by visiting the work shops and die houses.Results of theoretical calculations and assumptions had been concluded at the one of themanufacturer?s work shop and evaluated at the Conclusion part of the project.
