Abstract (EN)
The subject of our thesis is the examination of the life, works and Sufi views of Sarı Abdullah Efendi, who lived in the Ottoman geography in the XVIIth century and came to the fore in both the Bairami-Malami and Mawlawi traditions with his Sufi, bureaucrat, şârih/commentator and poet identities, within the framework of the Sufi science. The importance of our thesis is that the Sufi views of Sarı Abdullah Efendi, who takes an important place in Bairami-Malamatiyya, Mawlawiyah and Ottoman Mesnevî expounding with the works he composed, that he presented in his life and all works will be determined and contribute to the literature in the area of Sufi history and thought. The aim of our thesis is to present the Sufism understanding of Sarı Abdullah Efendi, who touched upon almost all of the concepts and issues of the practice and theory of Sufism in his works, taking into account his connection with the preceding and contemporary literature and tradition of Sufism and to determine the place of his Sufi views in the Sufi history and literature.
