Poetics and proses of Mr. Sari Abdullah Efendi registered at number of 3637 at Haci Mahmud section Suleymaniye Library (Text analysis with transcription)

This dissertation includes the texts and examinations prepared on transcription basis of literal work of Dîvân and Vâridât written by Mr. Sari Abdullah Efendi. Dîvân is a literal work consists of peotries penned by personally Mr. Sari Abdullah Efendi. As for Vâridât which was referred to Kocaelili Seyhzâde Muhyiddin Muhammed Efendi (d.d. 950/1543); it is a prose by the name of Noktatu'l-Beyân. This dissertation consists of three main chapter. In the introductory chapter, we explained the object, method and significance of our research. In the beginning we provided information about the biography, literal works of Mr. Sari Abdullah Efendi as well as the persons who were impressed by Mr. Sari Abdullah Efendi and finally poets with Abdî pen name. Following that in the second chapter, we mentioned the characteristics of manuscript and which way and technic we followed in the transcription. In the third and last chapter, widely approved transcription system in Turkish Turcology and the transcription of the text what we have had have been executed.
