The relationship between serum ace level and hypertension drugs in SARS-COV-2 patients

Sars-CoV-2, a previously unknown and newly described virus, is a disease caused pandemi at the end of 2019 in Wuhan city of Hubei province of China. Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEi) can increase ACE2 in human tissues and increase the adhesion of Sars-CoV-2. Although there are many studies examining the relationship between antihypertensive drug usage and clinical severity in patients hospitalized for Sars-CoV-2, studies examining their relationship with serum ACE are limited. In our study, we aimed to investigate the relationship between serum ACE level with antihypertensive drugs (especially ACEi) and clinical severity.
