Examination of Mr. Sati's Terbiye journal from an educational perspective

The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate four issues of Terbiye Journal published by Mr. Satı in 1914, one of the significant educational journals of the Second Constitutional Period, and the other six issues published by the name Terbiye in 1918 as the continuation of this journal from an educational perspective. This Journal we have examined consists of ten issues in total. In this study, screening model was used. Data obtained from this journal, written in Ottoman Turkish, by document reviev which is one of the data collection tool of historical method has been translated into contemporary Turkish language for everyone reading it to understand easily. It has been found out in this research that Terbiye Journal has important educational perspectives, recommendations and materials that contributed to the education of the Second Constitutional Period and we suppose will contribute to the today's education.
