Abstract (EN)
The main aim of this study is to evaluate the performances of R&D centers in defense industry in Turkey. In this sense 12 R&D centers belonging to 7 different companies are included in the evaluation. Following the literature review and learned opinion the criteria which affect the performances of R&D centers are identified and the significance of these different criteria are determined by using Entropi method. Later ARAS method, which is listed under the techniques of Multiple Criteria Decision Making process and also very popular among the researchers recently, is used to sort out the alternatives mentioned in the scope of the study. According to the results taken, the most significant criterion is R&D revenues (0,0503) and the least significant criterion is R&D expenses (0,3726) also A9 alternative has the highest performance of R&D centers.
