Abstract (EN)
In this study, a PC-driven, digital controlled hydraulic position control system has been developed and tested. First, the analog portion of the system has been modeled. Then, the digital and analog parts have been considered together and the transfer functions giving the servo and regulator characterictics of the system have been obtained using z-transf orras. Steady state and transient responses of the system have been calculated using step referance and disturbance inputs. Steady state sinusoidal response of the system has also been calculated. The system has been constructed and its performance has been tested experimentally by using step and sinusoidal referance inputs. The results show that the position of the actuator arm can be controlled with iO.0181 mm accuracy up to a frequency of approximately 40 Hz.Key Words : Digital Control, Hydraulic position control, Hydraulic control
