Abstract (EN)
There is a linear relationship between the quality of the water and the dissolved oxygen content. The life in motionless waters causes the amount of oxygen to decrease in time. Water can be cleaned from toxic gases and can be enriched oxygen content by using hydraulic structures. For this purpose, many studies have been done today. Venturi devices are used in many fields such as industry, agriculture, treatment plants and healthcare. In this study, aeration efficiency of venturi devices used in water aeration was investigated. For this purpose, the circular and elliptical geometries of the venturi are used. Different vent shafts are also designed on these venturi designs. For these designed venturi models, numerical analyzes were performed. In the study, a total of 240 numerical studies were performed with Ansys-Fluent software, which is a Computational Fluid Dynamics (HAD) software. The results were compared and interpreted.
