Özet (EN)

In this study, carp fingerlings exposed to half of the 96 hour LC50 value of propoxur effects were investigated histopathologically, hematologically and biochemically. After histopathological evaluation, no significant histopathological changes in spleen, intestine, muscle, skin tissues after exposure to propoxur however hyperemia, telangiectasia, hyperplasia, branchitis in gill tissues; fusion, epithelium removal, epithelium desquamation in secondary lamella; hemorrhage, oedema in kidney; destruction, pre-nephritis, inflammation in the tubules?desquamation in glomerulus; passive hyperemia, albumin and hydropic degeneration in liver; hyperemia, kromatolisis and glial proliferation in brain tissues were recorded. When the haematological parameters examined hematocrit values of experimental group were decreased according to the control group. Erythrocyte counts were increased in the experimental group when compared with the control group. This increasing was statistically significant (p<0.01). Leukocyte counts in experimental group were increased according to the control group. This increasing was statistically significant (p<0.01). MCV values in the experimental group were decreased when compared with the control group. In biochemical analysis, plasma glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride, phosphorus levels were increased in experimental group according to the control group. Total plasma protein, chloride and AST levels increased in the experimental group when compared with the control group. This increasing was statistically significant (p<0.01). Plasma sodium levels were increased in experimental group according to the control group. This increasing observed statistically significant (p<0.01). Plasma calcium and potassium levels were decreased in experimental group according to the control group.
