Özet (EN)

Asphalt coatings; increasing traffic volumes, increased truck traffic, higher tire pressures, reasons decreasing bonding capability of developing a connector connected to the refinery technology, are exposed to greater stress. In asphalt pavements; most important and one of the widespread disturbing stresses is permanent deformation problem. Under cyclic loading, coating, structure each consisting of a layer composed of permanent deformations in the form of aggregation.Service life causing deformations such as rutting (permanent deformation), fatigue and low temperature cracking and water susceptibility. Providing the envisaged service life and comfort level of pavement depends to a large extent on the properties of bituminous binder used in hot mixtures. From this point of view, modification of bitumen has become one of the methods frequently used in increasing performance of the road.In this study; pure (traditional), 2% hydrated lime, 4% hydrated lime, 2% hydrated lime+5% SBS and 4% hydrated lime+5% SBS modified mixtures were prepared. Optimum bitumen content with Marshall design method is determined and both 100 mm and 150 mm diameter briquettes were prepared. Intensively gradation is selected, and 75-pulse compression is used. Mechanical characteristics of mixtures were evaluated with Marshall stability. It is evaluated with Marshall quotient (MQ) approach.
