Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of environmental education given with the SCAMPER technique on the environmental awareness and attitudes of 60-72 months old children. The research was carried out in an experimental design, which is one of the quantitative methods. In this direction, two different groups were determined by using the easily accessible sampling method. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 24 children, 13 in the experimental group and 11 in the control group. "Environmental Awareness and Attitude Scale for Preschool Children-(EAASPC)" was used as data collection tool. In the study, data were collected through individual interviews with children. Quantitative data obtained from the research were analyzed using the SPSS package program. As a result of the analysis; It was determined that there was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups of the environmental education given with the SCAMPER technique. It was determined that there was a significant difference between the experimental group pre-test and post-test.
