Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, different type and brand compressors? performance graphs are drawn by using catalog data. Among data, it was seen that refrigeration capacity and power consumption are available but isentropic efficiency, coefficient of performance, volumetric efficiency, suction volume and pressure ratio are not available so these parameters are calculated in this thesis study. Firstly, performance analysis of scroll and reciprocating compressors are obtained and compared with each other. Then, same type but different brand compressors? variations of the coefficient of performance and isentropic efficiency are investigated under varying refrigeration capacity. According to the evaporation-condensation temperatures and pressure ratios parameters, refrigeration capacity and efficiency are presented and discussed for different type of compressors. Furthermore, experimental results of scroll compressor are compared with catalog data.Key words: Coefficient of performance, isentropic efficiency, reciprocating compressor, scroll compressor, volumetric efficiency.
