Abstract (EN)

Today, energy demand is increasing day by day due to population growth, technological developments and economic growth. In order to meet this energy need, solar energy, which is one of the renewable energy sources, can be used. In order to use the electricity generated from solar energy, grid-connected and grid-independent systems can be used. In the study, a grid-connected and grid- independent photovoltaic systems have been designed in accordance with the electrical energy consumption data obtained from a house in Turgutlu district of Manisa province. For the designed grid-connected photovoltaic system, 3 different scenarios are made, and the first scenario is dollar-based annual electricity price increase 0%, the second scenario is electricity price increase 5% and annual dollar rate price increase 3%, and the third scenario is electricity price increase 5% and dollar rate increase 7%. As a result of the economic analysis of the grid-connected photovoltaic system, the Net Present Value (NPV) ($ 747,571) was higher in the 3rd scenario, the Leveled Electricity Cost (LCOE) value ($ 0,0522 / kWh) was lower in the 1st scenario, and the payback period (9 years) is calculated. Hybrid photovoltaic system has been developed for 3 different scenarios and for the first scenario, three different situations have been examined including base, good and bad case where battery prices vary for first scenario (dollar-based annual electricity price increase 0%). The second scenario electricity price increase is 5%, annual dollar rate price increase3% and the change was based on the base situation and the third scenario was determined electricity price increase 5%, dollar rate increase 7% and the change in battery prices based on the base situation. As a result of the economic analysis of the hybrid photovoltaic system, the NPV value ($ 747,470) was higher in the third scenario, the LCOE value ($ 0,0573 / kWh) was 1. the scenario was lower in the good case and the payback period (8 years) was 2 and 3. the scenarios were calculated to be earlier.
