Abstract (EN)
Relation between electoral systems and political parties is one of the most important subject matters that influences the stability of political system. Thus electoral systems influence political systems by practising their primary consequences on political parties. The influence of electoral systems on political parties may be understood above two dimensions. First, influence of electoral systems on party systems and second influence of electoral systems on party cohesion which refers to concept of party?s internal organization. However clarifying relation between electoral systems and political parties could only be possible with using political science method which requires converting empirical evidences to general hypothesis? Hence primarily political science method has been used in this study. Electoral systems play a crucial role in shaping a political system in present day like it used to be in the past. With a right expression the impact of electoral system change upon a party system whose roots are deep may be muted, then, but there is clearly greater scope for shaping a party system in the process of formation which stage is stil pliable. Hence no matter how much argued, in democratic governments electoral systems still hold its feature to be the most useful tools of constitutional engineering.
