Abstract (EN)

Departing from the problematique of how much the factors, which determine voters behavior, affect and shape voters choices, the work ultimately argues that voters assume certain patterns of behavior, and designs types of voters within the framework of a model developed here. Within the data provided by qualitative method, generalizations reached through logical design describe, in a sense, types of voters. In this respect, the main purpose of the work, while being very assertive, is to build a voters typology which is able to encompass all the factors affecting voters? behavior. In the first chapter of the work, voters? behavior is studied theoretically as well as generally with respect to previous works on the issue. Particularly, what factors that affect voters? behavior and their degrees of influence are accentuated in the light of qualitative data. As for the second chapter, explanatory model for voters? choice that forms the basis of the types of voters is argued, and what elements this model includes is put forward. Besides, the function and mechanism of explanatory model for voters? choice is also reviewed in this chapter. The last chapter, types of voters that form the main hypothesis of the work is examined. Based on the explanatory model for voters? choice, types of voters are conceived as two main types, namely voters in the basket and voters on the branch, and these two types break into sub-types as ideological voters, traditional voters, dependent voters, conjunctural voters, rational voters, random voters.Key Words: Elections, Political Parties, Voters, Voters? Behavior, Types of Voters, Typology, Explanatory Model for Voters? Choice, Voters in the Basket, Voters on the Branch
