Abstract (EN)
In order to get information from future, telling one?s fortune and having someone tell fortunes have been a common tradition at Turk-Islam society as it has been in all societies. Fortunetelling which is in this tradition is so various. Involuntary twitch of body, ringing one?s ear, movement of the stars and planets, interpretation of the dreams, drawing lottery, interpreting meaning of the letters are among the well-known fortunetelling types. This popularity of the fortune telling has leaded notable studies emerge this field.The study of the Segürn?me written by Abulgani bin Abdulcelil Geredevi is not a translation. The aforementioned study contains respectively ?segürn?me?, ?eyy?mn?me?, ?taèbìrn?me?, ??urren?me?, ?faln?me?, ?levón?me?, ?şekln?me?, ?tabièatn?me? parts. In the last part, there are value and interpretation of the letters in connection with ?Hurûfîlik?.In this study, the study of ?Segürn?me? has been read taking into account the linguistic features of Old Anatolian Turkish language, analysed and the linguistic study of the text has been done. However, linguistic study has been formed for the contradictory uses apart from the features belonging to the period. Primarily, in this study, it is aimed to read strong text and analyze language sufficiently. Also, in the index attached to the study, words and prefixes/suffixes are shown considering the Old Anatolian Turkish language and only the meaning of them in the text are given.The study of Segürn?me is similar to the linguistic features of other studies which had been written in Old Anatolian Turkish. This study written in the astronomy field has a pure language, clear expression and suitable for people?s way of speaking and pleasure since it had been written addressing the people.
