Abstract (EN)
In this study, cleaner production (CP) alternatives that can be implemented in sugar factories were identified and prioritized using integrated Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methods. For the weighting of the criteria, both SWARA and Entropy methods were applied, allowing the use of subjective expert-based and objective data-driven weighting approaches together. Using these weighting results, the identified cleaner production alternatives were analyzed separately with VIKOR and TOPSIS methods. A significant methodological consistency was observed across all analyses. Among the eleven alternatives, the A10 option (utilization of molasses in feed and fermentation industries) was determined to be the most suitable cleaner production alternative according to all four methodological combinations.
