Thesis)Elif ÇAVDARGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYJunuary 2006ABSTRACTIn this study, the effect of different cold rolling (nitrogen, water andair) followed by different annealing (500, 700, 900ºC) on themartensitic transformation behavior of a NiTi alloy has been studiedby means of the DSC measurements. Activation energy of NiTi shapememory alloy has been investigated by using Kissinger, Takhor andAugis-Bennet methods.
