Abstract (EN)

Aim: Physical activity is an international term describing the movement of the body to spend energy. During the growth and development of individuals, they need nearly 70 nutrients to be healthy and productive both physically and mentally. The aim of the study is secretaries; To determine the level of physical activity, to determine the nutritional variety and nutritional habits of these people, and to evaluate the relationship between these results and body mass index. Material and Method: The universe of this cross-sectional study consists of the secretaries working at Inonu University Turgut Ozal Medical Center. The questionnaire used in the study; It consists of the sociodemographic characteristics of the secretaries, a table in which they write down all the food and drinks they consume during the day, the short form of UFAA and the questions created to determine their eating habits. Results: The rate of secretaries in the study group with sufficient physical activity level is 18.2%, the rate of people with overweight and above body mass index is 44.5%, and the rate of those who get ten points according to diet diversity score is 9.5%. When analyzed by gender, there was no significant difference between men and women in dietary diversity score (p = 0.853) and body mass index (p = 0.295), while a significant difference was found in terms of physical activity level (p <0.001). Conclusion: A significant correlation was found between physical activity level, body mass index and diet diversity score. Keywords: Physical activity level, obesity, diet diversity score
