Abstract (EN)

The supply chain has been evolving conjunction with the effect of the globalization. The international trade volume increases more and more. The changes in the customs regulations must be followed carefully in order to complete the procedures of importation and exportation. This situation generates the need of professional customs advice, so that companies prefer to work with customs consultant companies. Thereby, the selection of customs consultant company has an important role in supply chain. Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) is an effective technique used for evaluation and selection problems which contain multiple and generally contrasting criteria. Taking into account the multi-criterial characteristics of the customs consultancy, MCDM technique provides a powerful evaluation and selection framework. In this study, a fuzzy approach based on quality function deployment (QFD) for supplier selection, is proposed. The features, which suppliers have to have, are determined by taking in to consideration the sustainability in order to satisfy the needs of the company. After, the supplier assessment criteria are determined. The alternative customs consultant companies are evaluated by the decision makers, according to the determined criteria. In the end, we set the constraints of the supplier selection problem and we find the best suitable alternative by using a fuzzy boolean programming model. The fuzzy numbers are employed in order to be able to consider the imprecision of the verbal evaluations of decision-makers. A custom consultancy selection problem from pharmaceutical sector is illustrated to show the convenience of the proposed approach and results are discussed.
