Abstract (EN)

This thesis study was carried out at Çukurova University between 2020-2021. 29 apricot genotypes and varieties selected from Hatay, Mersin, Niğde and Nevşehir provinces; It was propagated by grafting methods and its tolerance/resistance to abiotic (drought and lime) stress conditions was determined through experiments. Similarly, in peaches, 74 promising hybrid individuals obtained from the combinations of Stark Red Gold (N) X Üstün (P) and Venus (N) X Üstün (P) were propagated and used in abiotic stress experiments. In abiotic stress studies, drought and iron resistance experiments were carried out on reproducible genotypes of all species, and in general, 50% and 40% restricted irrigation reduced stem diameter, plant height and leaf number in all species subjected to drought stress; It was determined that it had a negative effect on SPAD and PSII values. On the other hand, it was determined that E, A, Ci and gS values, which are among the photosynthesis efficiency parameters, decreased with limited irrigation. Iron stress generally reduces or does not affect stem diameter and height in plants; However, it reduces the number of leaves; It has also been determined that it reduces SPAD and PSII values.
