Abstract (EN)

Selim Ileri, one of the last great writers of our literature, has attracted and continues to attract the attention of many researchers with his writings. In this study, the modernist and postmodernist elements seen in Selim İleri's novels were examined. In this study, in which a total of seven novels of Selim İleri's novels are examined, it has been tried to focus on concepts such as fiction-metafiction, intertextuality, which are among the postmodernist elements seen in the novels. In addition, the modernist elements used in the novels were also examined in the study, based on the author's expression styles. With this study, which is presented as a view of the world of literature by Selim İleri, the line drawn by the author between the novels he gifted to our literary world in his first period and in his last period is presented in a modernist and postmodernist perspective. While examining Selim İleri's novels, the features seen in modern and postmodern novels have been tried to be specified, and the development line of the novel in our literature in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries has been tried to be shown with the sample of Selim İleri novels.
