Analysis of Furuq type in the context of Kitab al-Furuq of Ebu'l-fadl al-Karabisi

In the period following the formation of sects in the history of Islamic law, various types of writing emerged as a result of studies on the accumulation of furu al-fiqh. One of them is the furuq type of writing that deals with subtle differences between similar issues. Our study aims to analyze Kitab al-furuq by Ebu al-Fadl al-Karabisi from the 4th century Hanafi fuqaha, taking into account the characteristics of the furuq literature. The study consists of three parts. In the first chapter, the general features of the furuq genre are brought together as a result of researching various sources including classical and modern. In the second chapter, information about the period of the author 's life was given and his book named Kitab al-furuq was examined from various angles. In the third chapter, parts of the book about taharat, salat, fasting and zakat are analyzed and evaluated. Key words: Difference, Furuq, Karabisi, Samarkandi, Worship
