Abstract (EN)

Today, unions are among the organizations that are gaining importance. Unions should strive to improve the working conditions of their employees in line with their establishment goals. In order for unions to have a say in a workplace, they must have a majority of members in that workplace. There is more than one union in a line of business and employees are free to join any union they want. For this reason, unions have to provide the best service to both their members and other employees and they should inform the employees about these services by telling them. In this study, it has been tried to investigate whether the employees, the people who may work in the future, the retirees and the people whose families have employees, perceive the quality of the services offered by the unions and the attitudes they develop as a result of this perception and whether they become a member of the unions as a result of this perception. The research was carried out by reaching 400 people over the age of 18 who live in Ankara and selected by convenience sampling method. Data were collected by face-to-face survey method and Google docs method starting from February 2021 until May. The obtained data were analyzed with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 25.0 for Windows package program and the results were obtained. As a result of the research, the reliability factor, which is one of the quality perception elements, has a statistically significant effect on the attitude, the willingness factor, which is one of the quality perception elements, does not have a statistically significant effect on the attitude, the physical appearance factor, which is one of the quality perception elements, does not have a statistically significant effect on the attitude, the reliability factor, which is one of the quality perception elements, It has been understood that there is a statistically significant effect on behavior, the willingness factor, which is one of the quality perception elements, does not have a statistically significant effect on the behavior, the physical appearance factor, which is one of the quality perception elements, does not have a statistically significant effect on the behavior, and the attitude has a statistically significant effect on the behavior.
